A NIGHT IN PORTUGAL – THURSDAY 7TH JUNE

We are going back to our roots with a Night in Portugal to celebrate Portugal National Day. And who better to lead the way than the only Master Sommelier of Portugal, Joãs Pires, introducing the wines of Quinta da Gaivosa with chief winemaker, Tiago Alves de Sousa. This is a night not to be missed with exclusive wines that are not yet available in Australia and with some of the key figures of the Portuguese wine community.

Paired with a 5 course menu carefully created by Portuguese-born Chef Jose Silva, this is the ultimate Portuguese experience.

AUSTRALIA VS FRANCE – SATURDAY 16TH JUNE

Come join the team at bibo to watch the French vs the Aussies in the Soccer World Cup! Be there in spirit but from the comfort of bibo wine bar to enjoy a 3 course meal and beer on arrival whilst watching the Frogs vs the Roos on the big screen.

There will be some not-so-friendly rivalry within the bibo team. Barracking for the French is Restaurant Manager Jonathan and Assistant Sommelier Ambroise. Representing the Aussies is Head Sommelier Louella, Head Chef Jose and the rest of the team.

APERITIVO AT BIBO – LAUNCHES FRIDAY 13TH APRIL 

To celebrate our 2nd birthday, we’re launching Aperitivo at bibo!
Everyone loves a good happy hour, but we wanted to create a special experience at bibo that is more than just cheap drinks.

Aperitivo at bibo pays homage to the relaxed lifestyle of Chef Jose Silva’s Portuguese upbringing and is set to be the best value dining experience in Double Bay. Come for a quick snack after work or stay for a more substantial dinner. The much-loved bibo a la carte menu will also be available.

You can join us every day for quality wines, Portuguese beer and the Spritz of the day, paired with delicious Mediterranean dishes on a special $5 & $10 snacks menu that changes each week.

Head Sommelier, Louella Mathews, has put together an incredible drinks list to match:
